February is National Cancer Prevention Month and World Cancer Day is on February 4th. The ACSR is committed to advancing the science of cancer prevention<\/span>. Screening, vaccines and making healthy lifestyle choices are all ways to lower your risk of getting cancer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ACSR also stands by the the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), the organizer of World Cancer Day, and encourages everyone to ask their governments to improve health equity, to make it easier for all populations to enjoy affordable and accessible cancer services, to reduce disparities in cancer incidence and mortality and to support cancer research.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have an extraordinary opportunity to accelerate progress toward this goal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
